One health principle I have learned from Kal and Traci is the importance of the way we eat fruit. This has been one of the changes that I have made in my life that I have seen a great benefit from. Fruit, in it's natural form, is a perfect food. It is high in vitamins and nutrients that are bodies require, and when eaten by itself, has the ability to digest itself and clean out our bodies on the way out. I have taken up the practice of eating only fruit in the mornings and not combining fruit with any other foods. Eating fruit this way is key to health and weight loss. My family has enjoyed eating more fruit and a bigger varity of fruits. Often my children will choose to snack on fruit rather than other less nutritious food.
